Bowfa without crystal armour.
Fiddle with dps calc but its just a decent bow without boosts. Just finished Hydra @ 2153kc. 1.1k before 1k after BP nerf. I used rune darts after ~1400kc and it was fine, but I have 96mining from MLM and had a decent supply of rune darts to use. Used arma chest/legs. May as well use rcb or msb.

To cope with the grind, I kinda wanna make a second set of crystal armor (my current set has around 9k charges in each piece).When combined with an imbued slayer helmet, the damage bonus from crystal armour pieces is multiplied by the 15% ranged damage boost from the helmet. Assuming players are wearing both the crystal body and legs, this results in a damage bonus of approximately 29.375%. Long story short: YES, use the slayer helm.
I can tell you bowfa without crystal armour is really bad dps unless you have insane rng. It may be better than rcb but no where close to acb with opal. Crystal armour damage and accuracy boost is insane. The only upkeep of bowfa is the degrading armor. Dude corrupting it requires 2000 crystal shards. That's 32m gp and for 32m gp in shards you'd otherwise get 200k shots with the uncorrupted bofa. It's not like regular bofa doesn't require anything to use. Since bofa is 4 tick that's 25 shots per minute or 1500 per hour.
Blow pipe/Addy darts (full crystal armor) get 6.51 dps while the bowfa (full crystal armor) gets 8.15 dps. At p2 wardens bowfa gets 7.95 dps while Blowpipe/addy darts (full crystal armor) gets 6.06 dps. Overall i'd use the bowfa everywhere in the raid unless using at least dragon darts.r/ironscape. Bowfa is good because of the crystal armor. Hard part is done, get back in there and if you really don't like this grind leave after 5 armor seeds and skip the helm (highly recommend getting all 6 tho).
Looking for what's the general consensus. I'm effectively max combat, and currently rocking Bowfa and crystal armor. I just completed the quest today and am comfortably getting two kill trips after realizing I'm stupid and don't need to flick Smite during Shielded phase for bolts to proc. . Bowfa is trash without the armour. Go get it. I've probably done about 50 cox now without armour and with bofa 100 percent bofa is better even eith out armour i only had Andy darts in blowpipe im not sure how it compares to rune darts but I wouldn't use rune darts in cox its a waste.

If you want, you can use serp at zulrah so you don't need antivenoms but you're sacrificing dmg and accuracy. Same goes for justicar helmet in inferno for example. 7.
