I have had PIH for a LONG time. I have mostly addressed bacne, but I still get breakouts every now and then. I am new here, and found all the advice sticked on the sidebar here useful. Start on .025% mixed with a moisturizer to start to avoid any skin irritation and then take some out every week (two weeks) till you put it on straight and wait 5 before applying. Then wait longer each week till your skins is accustomed. This way you should avoid “the peel”. Microneedling, chemical peels, and lasers are some of the recommended treatments. For the scars like the ones shown in the reference image could use a combination of more than one treatments. Imo the scars don't look mild enough to be treated by chemical peels alone.
