Hey @WildBill, so got my dongle today and tried this hack on the V3 as I wanted to test it working with a POE drop, however, can't get video via RTSP.-I have the v3 RTSP beta firmware running on this camera, for reference (turned off the Wyze RTSP)-booted fine with the 32GB mSD card, some voice prompts (loading bootloader or something like that)Interestingly, along with 4.61.0.1, I also have a v3_RTSP_4.61.0.3 version. By far, wz_mini_hacks is the premium custom suite of solutions (including RTSP, of course) for your v3. It is also the only viable option offering a Windows friendly approach if you otherwise think you need to be a command like geek to hot rod your little camera. It operates 100% from an SD card and doesn’t touch the ...Oh I didn't mean the blue/red LED. I meant the IR LED that illuminates the scene, as well as the IR cut filter. It'd be nice if we didn't have to rely on Wyze server to be able to activate the IR illumination LED and move the cut filter up. Right now, you have to use the official Wyze app to do that, then the v3 cam would default to that setting.

The only way they can prevent wyze_mini from functioning at all is by altering the Uboot, which I don’t think they have. What they did do is prevent from hooking onto the video streams by removing some of the dynamic libraries. So homebrew RTSP and the “cmd” features are gone on the new FW, for now.

I have older firmware deliberately for wyze_mini_hacks. Doesn't work with newer firmware. Firmware should have nothing to do with CamPlus Lite issue.Wyze pulled the RTSP firmware officially so clearly this isn't something they take seriously anyways. There are better solutions if you want a camera that officially supports RTSP.

Purpose: Better RTSP on the wyze cam (confirmed after 2 months of use!) and more features. Plus, "Dafang Hacks" firmware is open source. Follow the official docs to flash the wyze cam v2 with dafang-hacks firmware.
